I was fortunate enough to receive an early copy of the book, and boy- it was awesome.
At least, unless she is willing to defy- and recreate this world that is now her own. Untrusted and kept in the dark, and Maggie really doesn't have a choice. While Caleb is locked in a cell, Maggie is forced to meet the demands of her new government. Maggie and Caleb are being thrown apart- and the council demands it. This goes much further than it has before- and it only gets worse. Thank you Shelly for giving me the opportunity to be a part of Caleb and Maggie's world.įinally, the Reunification is here- but yet, Maggie has a new enemy. It's beautifully written and I guarantee you will fall in love with the characters. I absolutely can't wait for Independence, which will be the final book in the series! It will be bittersweet, but I can't wait to see what happens and am anxiously waiting for the red dress! For those of you who haven't read this series, please go check it out. She's the queen of happily ever after! Love it!!! I don't doubt that Shelly will find a way.
I loved seeing Bish and Jenn again and have my fingers crossed that they can find a happily ever after. I started to like Kyle more in Accordance and am happy where is character is at now. I definitely wanted to do a smack down on Donald and Marla, who are the villains of the story. I felt that there was solid plot development and I loved the secrets that are revealed and the direction some of the supporting cast is taking. Maggie and Caleb always find a way to work together and I love that they pull strength from each other. *sigh* I think I could read about Caleb all day long people. Boxer Briefs.need I say more? Caleb really is the ultimate guy. It makes me happy when they are happy! There are some SERIOUS *swoon* moments in this book!. I get all gushy and fluttery in my belly, because that is just how good she is! I can not tell you how excited I was about Defiance's release! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this series! Defiance exceeded my expectations and I feel that this is the best book in the series so far, which says a lot, because I've loved them all! I feel like a total *fan girl* when I write Shelly reviews. Emotions are high, drama continues, wrongs are made right, big surprises are revealed, and of course love endures all! Maggie's had enough and Caleb's family is there to back her up. When Maggie's father and Bish are threatened, all bets are off. Maggie is trying to adjust to her new role, but those Watson's just don't want to leave her alone. The council is determined to keep them apart while there, but they manage to work around that obstacle. Maggie and Caleb are in London to meet with the Virtuoso Council.
